Manuel Geier

completed his Master of Music percussion studies at the Karlsruhe State University of Music with distinction.

He was particularly influenced by his lessons with Don Raaymakers in MI, USA and his concert activities there with the “Strike Percussion Ensemble”.

Starting with an old Atari computer and an eight-track cassette recorder, his passion for composing continues to this day.

Enthusiastically searching for sound, with the aim of combining simplicity and complexity, he tries to sensitize the listener, the performer and himself to the artistic content in music.

In addition to scientific aspects, such as making matter sound and exploring the endless possibilities of electronics, the spiritual and meditative content of music is his focus.

With “Klangzeugs” he founded a band that moves between progressive electronic pop music and neoclassical music.

He is a lecturer at the Ettlingen Music School and works as a freelance composer, producer and musician.
